Beginning of the foothills of Apalta. Franc soil together with stones and clay.
100% Mourvèdre
Hand harvested early in the morning but late in the season. Once the grapes are in the winery they’re immediately pressed, clarified and fermented under cold temperatures, to keep its freshness. Part of the wine goes to french oak barrels during vinification and the rest stays with its fine lees on the tank, to ensure volume, complexity and varietal expression.
Is a lovely wine, a joyful experience from the beginning to the end. Its vivid colour, plus the expressive aromas of fruits, wild herbs and flowers, makes a perfect match with its crispiness on palate, a nice volume and a touch at the end of endemic Chilean berries from the south, murtillas.
Ceviche, paella and oysters. But also white cheese and watermelon salad or gazpacho.
